Accessories Is this the "correct" car dock?

Is that the right one? Is that the factory car dock from motorola? Or a knock off.

Also, how much are these in the AT&T store?

Lastly, what's a good case that will still allow me to mount the phone in the car dock without taking the case off?

It is the right one.. i just received mine today from UPS, ordered on amazon... price was 39.99 just a day ago..... they raised it 14$ in less than 24 hours? something gives.
 
Yes, that is the correct one. As for the price you can still get it for 39.99 but it doesn't come with the car charger. The other package just comes with a USB and audio cable rather than the car charger. You could buy the 39.99 one and get the car charger for 5 bucks on Amazon though.
 
Found one! 39 and comes with rapid car charger. On amazon. The price wasn't listed so you could only see price in checkout.
 
unfortunately no. Motorolla dropped the ball on this one by claiming their dock works with cases, but even the lightest cases out there are saying the fit is terrible. Someone with an Incipio Feather graded the fit a 2 out of 10 in another thread here. (only 1 person said it was fine but I'm skeptical. I have the case that Bell is selling and it's about the same size and price as the Feather, it's a terrible fit too). I have a very good quality screen protector and I don't drop stuff so I think I'm going to just go caseless until this gets resolved.
 
Not sure if I'm late on this, but seeing the MAtrix Vehicle dock on the AT&T site store for $39... w/ 2 day shipping... might grab me one.

I've had the same issue. I bought a slim fitting case and tested to see if it fit in the OEM Atrix car dock and had a hell of a time trying to jam it in there. I did however find a very nice replacement.

It's called the iGrip Traveler kit (holder & mount) and I picked it up from my best buy for 33 $. Great thing about it is that it is universal for anything and fits my Atrix perfectly. Here are some links (1st link is for Canadian Best Buy, 2nd link is for Amazon.com and third is a Youtube review ((I havent watched the review so it could be saying it sucks but I really like it)) The best part is it holds it in landscape mode or portrait and the bottom legs come off so it fits around the volume buttons and USB charger area nicely so they aren't covered. (and with the launcherPRO cardock access method it makes the stock Atrix dock pointless (except of course the OEM dock looks pretty slick, i'll admit.) Check it out. Also, We're paying $80 dollars for the OEM dock in Canada so this is a much cheaper alternative as well.

If you're paying 80 dollars you're getting ripped off. At the bell store both my vehicle docs were 50 dollars each. Both included the charger.
 
Must be because i'm living in Alberta. We pay less tax but they hike up the price otherwise :P I'm okay with the dock I got though because of my case.
 
I'm from Alberta and I am buying accessories at Winners where the price for most of this stuff is under $20. I got a travel stand from Griffin Tech under $10 to replace the standard mount from Motorola which is $50.
