Root Is this the correct process for my upgrade?

Can you give me verification this is correct process coming from initial CWM/Root/Radio from when TB first came out. I rooted and flashed bamf remix 1.86, that's where I'm at now.

I know I must have missed something or the order is wrong, can you straighten me out so i don't brick this thing.

Rom

Backup
Make Nandroid backup

Stage Radio/Rom File
Place on SD card radio in root, rom in dir check MD5 on radio and rom
PG05IMG.zip Place on the root (not in a folder) of your SD,

Radio First
Open Maps, get a GPS lock for 30 seconds.
Reboot into recovery
Flash in HBOOT
Reboot pray rom comes up or not reboot and turn phone off and remove file via usb reader
Remove PG05IMG.zip from SDCard
Reboot into recovery for Rom flash


Rom Second?
Boot into clockwork recovery
Wipe data/cache/dalvik cache
Flash the rom
Reboot
Pray
 
I think I would add making a nandroid before you go wiping data/cache/dalvik cache but everything else is spot on.

That should work perfect, if you have issues with force closes after the flash then boot back into recovery and wipe /system and flash the rom again that should resolve them
 
I really don't know, I use TWRP, I would suggest you flash the most recent version of CWM in hboot before doing anything else that way you know it will work.
 
Yep, locked right in. However 4g isn't working only 3g atm. I saw 4g icon at fisrt boot then it switched to 3g. In a strong 4g area.
 
...and also it's downloading a bunch of apps automatically from market that i don't want, like iheart radio and a bunch of crap, where's that coming from and how do i stop it?
 
...crap. this has got to be coming from Titanium Backup, it's downloading everything I ever had in Titanium, crap.
 
No, there is an option to allow it to restore your account and downloads everything it can I almost always uncheck that if it is there. Force close the market maybe even reboot in recovery and clear data then resign into google. That may also fix the 4G, I am thinking you got on 3G when it started downloading from the market and it can't switch, I am in the university area so I know 4G in Charlotte is working currently
 
On second thought booting into recovery and wiping /data would be the best bet at this point, I am not sure if the option to restore the device after you flash can be undone without wiping data, while you are at it wipe cache and dalvik just to be sure.
 
I just let it play out now everything is loaded.

4 g is that everything looks good thanks man.
