First tablet, not my first android device though. I thought tablets were sort of useless compared to a laptop until I saw how much my brother used his iPad. Loving the N7 so far. You can't beat it when it comes to things like web browsing and Netflix.

The Nexus 7 would be the fifth tablet for me.

I'm also another user who clawed their way up through a couple of mistakes from China into the name-branded tablets to find things much, much better on this side of the tracks.
That started with the Acer A500 I ran for a year or so.

Nowadays I'm running a Toshiba Excite 10 T305 as well as my Nexus 7.

Isn't my first but definitely my favorite. I had an hp touchpad, asus transformer, ipad 2 and now this. The nexus 7 is perfect IMO. I like the 7" form factor and how smooth and quick it is. These are the types of tablets android needs.

We need more votes here - for me personally 3rd android tablet but it is the one I like the most. Android phones - it seems I have had a lot of them by now and the next one will be a google phone so I don't have to rom to get the newest update!!!!!

I just placed an order for the 16GB N7 today! I'm getting it to take my mind off of my Thunderbolt marooned on Gingerbread island. I've also used the Droid Eris. I always root and ROM my android devices and I've been dying to get my hands on a Nexus device. Virtually everyone else in my family has some sort of tablet device in their house, even though none of them are as big a techie as me. Now it's my day in the sun... My wife thinks a tablet is a pointless device, but I'll wager that she'll beg me for one by this Christmas.

I bought an Acer A100 last black friday for $189 i think which was a great deal. I ended up selling it a month later, wasn't thrilled with the viewing angle, the short battery life especially considering how hefty it was.

Almost held out for the A110 but initial reviews I read say that the bad viewing angles are still there. As much as I wanted the SD slot, I've found out it's not as big of an issue since i have 1k songs loaded in Google Music.

Nexus 7 is my fourth Android device, second Nexus (current phone is Galaxy Nexus), but first tablet.

I had no interest in tablets because you basically had two options: Cheaper tablets with specs that my phone would put to shame, and more expensive tablets that, IMO, were not as useful as similarly priced laptops. Additionally, Android tablets seemed to be having some growing pains, and I'm not touching an iPad (I don't like Apple's business practices and refuse to purchase anything they make.)

The Nexus 7 gives high end specs, in a size that I like, for a price far below the "might as well buy a laptop" threshold. The fact that it's also a Google Nexus branded device certainly helped push me toward buying it.

Nexus 7 is my 5th tablet (third Android). I avoided the entire mobile world and was happily enjoying my feature phones on VirginMobile until Summer 2010. Got seduced by Apple for a good 8 months. Then my innate Apple dislike impelled me to at least try the world of Android.

2 phones and 3 tablets later, I decided it was time I experimented with Nexus devices. I grabbed the phone and tablet the same week off Play Store. Now I have a selection of hardware and software versions to compare. (I have one Gingerbread tablet, two ICS devices and two Jellybean Nexus toys, as well as two iOS devices from 2010/2011. The original Froyo phone is on loan for the summer but will come back to me just long enough for me to wipe it and reconfigure for another family member.)

Mobile devices have completely replaced my TV. I don't bother switching it on anymore because I have Plex Server (for my home media library), Netflix, Amazon Prime and Slingbox (for the times I really need to see cable TV). I also don't buy paper books anymore or CDs. All my media is digital.

FWIW after lugging around 10" tablets, I found the 7" form factor is just easier for me to carry. Neither replaces my need for a laptop with a true multi-tasking OS that lets me have multiple windows open on the same screen.

I've liked the Asus manufacturing since buying the Transformer. The Nexus 7 is a snappy device with a very clear screen. JellyBean is awesome (love Google Now) though not all apps function yet. I own a Galaxy Tab 7 Plus to compare. Makes me wish for that SD card slot and rear camera. I use the camera to show people what I'm looking at during Skype calls.

Second, got android Cruz reader and it was borderline bad. Good reader (its main function) since its not a tablet, but it was slow and cluncky. Don't get me wrong, I loved having a cheap technology to play on and experiment, but I love this tablet.

1st Android tablet. I had an iPad 2 but sold it since it just didn't really have a place. My N7 takes over as my forum reader and computer. I got the ZAGGKeys Flex and it makes the N7 basically a laptop. I still use my laptop, but mainly for editing websites and such.

I'm excited for the Microsoft Surface since it could potentially be a REAL laptop replacement.

Android is nothing new to me, my last 2 phones have ran Android. This however is my first tablet, and to tell you the truth I'm proud I didn't lose my tablet virginity to an iPad ;)

Still waiting to receive it though, expected delivery date randomly increased 2 days from last time I looked at the tracking number, but as long as it arrives sometime in the coming week I'll still be happy. $20 for international priority mail is understandable, but not if it takes a fortnight to arrive.

First tablet or me. I've wanted one for a long time but couldn't justify the price since my phone does everything I'd do with a tablet. But, you know how it is, I just had to have one. I was this close to buying a tf300 but at $199 I feel a lot less guilty buying the n7. I'm digging it so far.

My second tablet, I have the Kobo Vox (mainly for an ereader with a few extras), unlike many on the web this has been flawless for me and was my introduction to android, I was finding it getting a bit slow though when doing non reading so got the nexus, I still use both as I prefer the reading app on the vox (kobo books), everything else is now on the nexus

I also have a galaxy s2

love the syncing between devices, get same info on all 3 :)

This is my third Android tablet. The first two were running Gingerbread and as I also use an iPad I couldn't cope with the jerky OS. So I sold them both. Toyed with a Tab 7.0 2 but although it's ICS it's still a bit jerky. So while the Galaxy Tabs seem better put together the N7 is far better in terms of usability. As good as my iPad 3 which now languishes at home.

My family's second tablet. The Samsung GST 8.9 is technically mine and I bought the NG7 to replace my wife's Kindle Keyboard and happily isn't a Kindle Fire :D

This is my first Android Tablet in addition to a Samsung Galaxy Note phone.
My first tablet was the BB Playbook which I bought last Dec when it was on sale for $199.
I like the 7" form factor of the Playbook so when the N7 with Jelly Bean came out I got one to compliment my Playbook.
So far the N7 is the best tablet I've come across.
BTW I got my son an iPad last Dec and although I've played with it I didn't fancy the size and prefer the 7" for my use.
I'll get the Microsoft Surface when its out so I can compare the the three.

Not my first tablet (have ipad 2) or android device (several android phones) but it is my first android tablet.

It's my first tablet, but not my first droid.

The reason I chose the Nexus 7 was because a tech friend of mine loves her Nexus and I have never had an issue with any droid I've owned. Also the size was appealing, and the fact that after what happened to my iTouch 4 after a year I wasn't going to invest that much money in an iPad which could possibly have a faulty home button (my iTouch does, it's just annoying, but not the end of the world). I haven't received the tablet just yet, ordered it from Google today, so I am looking forward to getting it.

Also it seems to have nothing but positive reviews, which is also a plus.
