Root is unrevoked possible on incredible s

Hi there,
Is it possible to use unrevoked forever and unrevoked 3 on/with a htc incredible s.
I want to root my IS and I'm not sure how to do this!
I would be glad about help.
 
the only way right now to root the incS is with the XTC clip.. I have one but I have the Inc2 and is not supported yet. I have 6 credits, which mean I have 5 to sell. PM and maybe we can work something out...
 
Thanks, but I'm afraid I know nothing on programming/hacking/rooting, so wouldn't be the best person to do that! I'm just a keen phone enthusiast who would like to see the Incredible S rooted. :)
 
it is expensive to root the incS right now because there is no software root such as unrevoked. but the xtc clip does work for the incS.,.

im hoping unrevoked cracks this open for us since the incs and inc2 are very identical hopefully they are reletively the same process so it's a two for one

Is unrevoked possible? YES!

Can't believe no-one's posted this already. Over on XDA, you can now S-OFF your Incredible S, root it, and flash any number of custom ROMs. I have, it works!

If you google for AlphaRevX HTC Incredible you will find all of the information you need. Head on over to XDA Developers to get more information or to search about questions you might have.
 
It is incredible S , but i hesitate to put it in S OFF because my Hboot is 0.99.0000 so i feel confused, i have done many research about it :confused: .
We can use alpha with the Is begining by 1.13 , isnt it ? mine is .0.99.0000

Over at XDA Developers there are discussion threads about upgrading the Asian Incredible S using another region's ROM to get HBOOT 1.09 and then you can run AlphaRevX. The process involves creating a goldcard so that you can flash a ROM from another region.
 
thanks , otherwise , if i flash my rom ,to use for another region , wireless , wifi and others applications will we work well or not ? because i bought my phone here because i will live in China for a few months , or more than 2years , was the new rom will be compatible to my gprs , 3g , wifi ?

I really can't answer that for you. In reading the different threads on XDA Developers (HTC Incredible S forums), it looks like the 710d model may be a little differnet than the 710e (European model) and the 710a (North American model), so I would suggest you post your questions on XDA Developers since their forums tend to attract users from all over the world.

They answer me that my phone model is equivalent to Incredible 2 in this Thread [Q] Difference and question about droid incredible - xda-developers , but now my phone using a custom rom : quens Rom , i dont know if my MMS is open , and my battery life is very short , not more than 1day when i use wireless , and 3G outside, so terrible , i cant enjoy for the
Android Revolution HD 1.1.0 | High Quality & Performance | O/C | Sense/no-Sense ,

Because is provided for S710e / :( .
Where should i ask the software initially come with my phone as customer service and UIM card please ? .
