Is verizon still not supporting this thing?

A while back Verizon was not activating the new N7s on its network. I just looked up the N7s on the play store and seen they had 5 different flavors of N7s

16gb wifi
32gb wifi

32gb AT&T
32gb T-mo
32gb LTE (I am assuming this was with verizons sim card, presumably missing now)

So, is verizon still refusing to allow this device on their network?

It's been 6 weeks since Verizon came out with the statement about their certification process, the upper end of the length of time it takes. Considering it had already been in the process for almost 6 weeks already, I think the writing is on the wall. Wonder if Google or Asus has filed a complaint with the FCC yet.

VZW just announced their own 7" tablet. They have never been known to delay a nexus product for certification until a corporate flagship released, have they.:motz:

My Network Admin is looking into getting iPads and a couple Android Tabs. We use VZW and it is hard to convince him to try android with all the drama and BS with VZW. I mean, I love my VZW and my service, but that doesn't help me convert my Net Admin....

Any word on a new Nexus 10?

Many are speculating that the project has been sincerely delayed or canceled. The only leak we've had about a Nexus 10 is that it's suppose to be made by Asus. Even still, I'm not sure it would have mobile data since the first generation one didn't.

As for Verizon and the Nexus 7, certification has been put on hold until the device receives the KitKat update, at which point they will start the process all over again. So the likelihood of things getting worked out by Christmas is kind of bleak.

I am waiting for verizon to come out and say its all the rooted devices that has crippled their network...
