Root Is your compass working in Sagarwep in rom V2.0

The compass won't work on any flashed ROM by itself. You need to calibrate the Magnetometer by downloading "Compass" application from Play Store. Then further, go into the menu and calibrate.

Wave your phone horizontal to the surface of the earth in a 8 pattern. The needle in the background would go away like crazy. But after around 20-25 waving, the needle will rest at a single direction. That's it...

You're done...
This is a type of trick, it might work coz it works for me or might not too...

For me, compass is going NUTS in Maps! When I'm travelling towards a direction, it should be showing me pointing towards the same, but in Maps I'm like travelling towards the very opposite sides or maybe sidewards.....
 
I dono about compass In maps
but if u draw an big "8" with ur mobile when compass app is open
in a open space
it callibrate itself as u said

never tried that with gmaps

Yes, I have fixed compass issue in sagarwep 2.0 rom but the thing is it works in Compass app only, Google map n Sygic Mobile Maps still not able to detect that's y didn't released the fix.
N for any rom on A75, gps won't detect if u have Google Maps version other then stock (that is 5.11.0) or one with ported roms (that is 6.0.0)...I have checked this on all roms I tried, posted about this in A75 Common thread but no one replied...
So to get gps work on G maps install mmx stock maps.apk only or one from icsui rom..

Compass didn't work because ported roms lack required binaries...
