Is your RedLaser working?

I press on Scan and the camera didnt come up.

I did a new install.

I have MeanRom 4.2

Sorry I need to move this out of "Root".

I am sorry man.

I mean the app. This scanning app.

It was working before. I just have MeanRom 4.2 on it last week from new after s-off.

I press Scan. Something try to happen but the camera does not show up.

You have this problem?

I don't root (someday maybe - it is what I always say :o), and I don't ROM
That being said;

If I was to hazard a guess, it would be that the recent Mean ROM builds mostly use a modified Camera application that is not mapped the same way as a stock or an unedited camera application? Your stock RedLaser program from the market does not know where to find your camera application in the modified customized ROM build?

[MOD][18 Sep] HTCCamera 4.5 Plus ver. 7.2 | Release | All Sense 4 ROMs - xda-developers
[APP][MOD]Sense 4.5 Camera Mod - xda-developers"

I would imagine something is in conflict. Try to find someone that can replicate the issue, if then, report it to the ROM developer and see what they have to say or do about it? Or contact the RedLaser developer, however they won't be able to help a whole lot since you are running a custom configuration?
As usual, a blind guess from me

Try this out. After seeing this thread I decided to check out Red Laser on my EVOLTE running Stock with Goodies 2.11.
I wasn't getting the camera to open up during a scan, but it was scanning.
Here is what I did. Start the app the turn the phone to landscape mode, then start the scan. Camera opened up. can switch back to portrait mode after the camera opens up. But to start the scan seems it has to be landscape mode.

You are right. I ask on xda and nobody could give me the answer.

Definately a bug.

Thanks for your help!
