Issue linking accounts to Facebook

OK, here's what I'm trying to do. I have existing contacts to enter into my phone. I want to link those alone with Facebook profiles so that I can have their FB pictures as the contact pic, and view the contact's FB profile from within the contacts app.

With the Infuse, you could do this simply by hitting "Join Contact", and there'd be an option to select Facebook at the top - you found the profile, and boom. That option isn't here.

I tried using the Social Hub, that just put all of my FB contacts into my contact list.

Can someone please walk me through the easiest way to do this?

Please note that your message contacts will be affected and will include everyone who has listed an email or phone number to be listed onto your message contacts.

For your phone contacts, when you download the facebook app and install it, after you sign in it will ask you if you want to sync with contacts, make sure that is checked off and it will begin to sync with your contacts, there will be some people who won't auto-sync because of their names, but you can do what you did on your infuse and do the join contacts.

After all that is done, it will show all facebook friends on your phone, but to only display the ones on your original contact go to contacts>menu>more>display options>Facebook>uncheck all contacts.

Once you do the above, you will need to go into each individual contact and click joined contacts and then specify which one to join to (phone does a good job of recommending options)
