Issue on rooting phone... HELP!!!!

Please help...

I recently got my Samsung S2 and surfed the next and thought rooting the phone would be good for it... Now, I don't know if that was bright.

Have you tried a hard reset?

I've tried it after your suggestion... Now the Kies works, but there is still the exclamation mark.

I really want to root my phone and tried the same steps, but now, it's not even letting me go past step 2 and showing an error.

Can anyone help?

Or does anyone know a repair place that can do this for me. I don't mind paying...

I always have an exclamation mark on start up on my rooted gs2. Download root checker from the market to see if it's rooted.
