Root Issue rooting.

I followed the above steps in rooting my friends phone, except I did not do unrevoked 3 as it was my understanding it was not needed.

A big problem is occurring. He is not receiving text messages and is having to constantly update the PRL so that he can get text messages.

We have myns 2.2 rls 4 on the device currently.


Could not applying unrevoked 3 be a cause to this ?

If you didn't use unrevoked 3, what method did you use to obtain root?

did you do a full wipe of everything prior to flashing mynns?

also look into flashing his prl to the most current manually
