Help Issue sending pics & syncing

I have 2 Evos. Mine, which is rooted works awesome. However, my daughter's recently won't send pics using Handcent (I did increase the MMS size) and keeps saying "msg failed to send. Generic network error." Help pls! I don't want to do a factory reset if I dont have to. Also, recently she lost a majority of her contacts. She is linked to her gmail & we have both tried syncing but it still won't pull them thru. Thanks for your help all!

About your first problem: What I do, is usually send messages when on Wi-Fi, thinking it would help. I don't think that would help much, but try it.

About your second problem: Have you exported your contacts to the SD card? If you have, Import it back in.
But if not, and you synced the contacts, go to Accounts & Sync, and press the Gmail account, press MENU, and press "Sync now".

I had similar problem. I updated prl and then profile in that order and it fixed problem for me. It's worth a try.
