Root Issue with CM7

I downloaded CM7 with gingerbread to the root of my sd card, then rebooted in clockwork recovery mode. the ROM acts like its loading and then its done with in a few seconds. After that the phone boots normally. How do i tell if the ROM loaded? If it didnt load, what did I do wrong?

You can install CM7 manually through Clockwork recovery, but it's a multi-step process of wiping partitions and cache and flashing the zip file from your SD card. ROM Manager will help automate that.

You'll know when you have CM7 properly installed ... it looks nothing like the stock Inspire ROM.

If you're asking, it didn't install properly. As has been noted here, download ROM manager from the market and then use that.
