I'm not sure if this is a widespread issue or not. I'm also fairly certain it's only happened with 2.2+. Anyway, sometimes when I go to type regardless if it is an IM or web browser when the keyboard pops up nothing I type will actual appear on screen. I'm currently using smart keyboard plus and what I type still appears in the spellcheck. I've had this issue with smart keyboard and the stock keyboard. My indication it won't work is when the keyboard pops up all letters are in lower case. I have to repeatedly back out of programs in order for the keyboard to work correctly again. It happens at least once a day though typically several times. Any suggestions or fixes? This is a gigantic pain. I also posted this on the Moto Droid X forum but I figured people here would be a better shot. Thanks in advance.
