Issue with music player

Hi Adroid Forum, I'm new here but this problem has been driving me crazy so I figured, why not give it a shot so, I was wondering if anyone else has this issue, I have an Lg Optimus L9 and when I'm playing music the song randomly stops, pauses, I have to unlock the phone and press play, and sometimes the cable isn't recognized and plays the phone speakers, I have to re-plug the cable. I don't know why, when I listen to music with the Lg headphones that come with the phone this issue does't happens, but when I'm in a car with the music in the background, it randomly stops or when I'm using external speakers happened too, I dunno what to do... Has anyone else had this problem. Please help I'm going crazy... BTW I'm using ICS 4.0.2
