Issue with new Turbo

I just recieved my new Turbo, to replace one with a cracked screen and have an issue with the new phone. I listen to a pod cast frequently and with my old phone I could surf the web or shut off the screen and continue to listen. With the new Turbo, as soon as I open a new screen, the pod cast stops. Not sure if the issue is a setting on the phone or the podcast website. As far as I know, both phones were up to date, I'm using Chrome for my browser. Thanks.

On the new phone go to Settings | About phone. Is System version 23.11.39?

I'm not sure I know an answer, but a possible solution is to use a specific podcast app (Pocket Casts and BeyondPod are both great apps) and subscribe to the podcast feed with the app and use it to listen? I do this all of the time and have no problems using other apps while I listen (though I generally don't - I'm usually running or driving while I'm listening, but I can navigate with google maps while listening and it works great.)

Advanced calling was off. I tried turning it on with all combinations of options on and off. No luck.

On my new phone, when click the power button, to wake the phone, it brings up my notification screen. The look of this is different than my old phone. If I had been listening to the pod cast, it shows up as a notification. I figured out the if I click pause, then play, the podcast will start playing again. From that point, I can put the phone to sleep or get on other apps and continue to listen. I can't do anything else on Chrome or it will stop playin and I have to repeat the process.

The above mentioned method isn't working, either. After about a minute or two of listening like that, Chrome locks up on me.
