Root Issue with RCLite

Somehow I downloaded and installed 4.9 and it won't recognize my Droid X, so after researching it and downloading 4.7 with a patch, I uninstalled 4.9. So after installing 4.7 and patching it, the program still came up with 4.9! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dumb question but are you sure your Motorola drivers are installed?

I'm in the same boat. Running version 4.9 of RSD Lite, the drivers I installed are 4.7.1. Still not recognizing my device. Please help.

Yes I have the Drivers installed but the problem is no matter which rclite I install I still have 4.9 which doesn't work

RSD 4.8 works without issue for me on XP,Vista and 7. maybe try using 4.8 it does not require a patch.

For anyone still struggling with this - I never did get my RSD Lite to recognize my device, but the start button was active. After the drivers installed, I clicked start and it ran. Worth a try.

Stupid question #4918: How do you know it "ran"? I have the same issue. RSD Lite won't recognize my phone using 4.9 and latest drivers from the Motoroloa website: 04.07.01. The start button is active. File "loaded" in VRZ_MB810_2.3.15_1FF_01.sbf. I don't want to do anything, except for trying some ROM (Apex or gummyjar?) but just want to know I can get back to where I am now, which is:
