Help issues after kit kat update

Hi guys

Have any of you noticed issues with the hand set after the update.

I've noticed that when your playing music through the stock music player and have the phone in your pocket and you try changing tracks with the head phones or even via the lock screen, sometimes the phone does not wake up..All you are stuck with is the black screen as if the phone is still asleep..takes a few minutes before it starts responding properly..

Also I've noticed that in a lot of apps (i.e. whats up), they tend to lag and sometimes the keyboard stops responding until you kill the app and then relaunch...

Has anyone experienced these issues or any other??

I don't have that track problem on the stock lock screen on my t-mobile Note 3 with the 4.4.2 kitkat update . I left my Bluetooth headphones home, I'm looking for a replacement for them, but I'll test that when I do get home which will be about 8:30 AM EST.
