Help Issues after rooting Kernal. Camera stopped working

Lurker
Hi there. After rooting My Galaxy S2 ATT i777 (Still on Stock ROM, only rooted Kernal) Whenever i launch a camera App (either Stock app or downloaded) i get a black screen, yet when i leave the app i see a glimpse of the item the camera was pointing at so i know the camera still works. Is there a easy way to fix this or am i stuck restoring the phone?

OS is 4.0.4
Baseband is i777UCLL6
Kernal is 3.0.35-Siyah - v3.4.2-nomswap+ktoonsez@ktoonsz-Virtualbox ) ) #2 SMP PREEMPT

I'm on 4.0.4, but I'm using a slight different kernel (also Siyah). There are 2 types of Siyah kernel for different ICS versions (this could be the origin of your camera issue). Notice you have "nomswap" (no mic swap). Go to this page and download the latest Siyah Kernel for ICS http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1592228 Try the with mic swap one. This is also a newer kernel. Let me know what happens.

I followed your instructions and flashed the new Siyah kernel with mic a few moments ago. The camera screen came back and everything looks all right (.... till now, kkkk).

Thank you!
