Root Issues ROMing Admire

Lurker
Hey guys, looking for a little insight on my issue here if anyone can help.

So I followed the guide on here to install CWM recovery through odin and rooted the device successfully. Afterwards, I attempted to install "The New Stock++" ROM, only to have the device just sit at the black screen that says Samsung and SCH-R720. I get the typical errors in CWM that everyone else seems to have, only they are able to flash ROMs. I've tried wiping everything and reflashing CWM but the device still won't boot.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?

Are you on CWM 5.0.2.7 or 5.0.2.8?

I'm just gonna assume you have 5.0.2.7 installed

Install 5.0.2.8 because the new stock++ rom 2.3.6 is ext4 and is overclocked to 900mhz...as for errors in cwm those are just annoying bugs which could be fixed by restoring a backup

That was it, thanks for getting that sorted for me, I feel silly now. :p
