Issues since 4.1.2 update

Since receiving the 4.1.2 update last week, I have experienced 2 issues, that seem to be related.

1. It seems that my cell service is not nearly as good. I work in Boston, and have never had connectivity issues.

2. When I am not getting any signal (which almost never happened before, but has happened about 10 times since the update) the phone seemingly goes into airplane mode. I only know this because when I try to dial out without service the phone asks if I want to disable airplane mode. Clicking yes brings service back. HOWEVER, when I check the phones settings, airplane mode is off.

These two issues could be related.

Anyone else experiencing this or something similar.

Just today had a picture I took yesterday "tile out" when I opened it. Never seen that before on any phone. Only once though. Strange.

I'm just upset that I did not get any increased volume on the earpiece/speaker, as stated to be a fix by this update. speaker is way too quiet.

I think you are the only person I have heard complain the speaker is too low. Usually it's the other way around :) . Maybe you have a bad phone/speaker or....you seriously need to have your hearing checked. Not trying to be 'mean' but I have a hearing loss and it's plenty loud.

I have actually gotten better service since the update, but i do have strange glitch no matter what app i'm in sometimes the whole screen shakes sort of its really fast and not very noticeable but the display seems to bend about 10 pixels only has been happen in since update also

it's definitely the speaker. I have no problems with my wife or kids RAZR, or my work phone. I need to get a new bluetooth to replace my lost one anyway. that will solve my problem.

I have the occasional screen glitch as well. I was thinking it was particular app, but now I think it might have been the update.

Myself and a friend both have the screen shaking glitch as well I'll have to ask my sisters and parents if they've seen it on theirs. Anyone with the screen glitch try a factory reset? I don't feel like having to reinstall my apps unless I have to

I believe I solved the problem. I was (and have been) using Juice Defender. Since the update the app saw my operating system as running cyanogen (or some other treatment, i forget which). thanks

I noticed the screen shake only after the update. A factory reset did not fix the issue.
I too just noticed a screen shake today. I have never seen it before, and it happened to me twice in a short period, while I was in Google Talk.

It almost appeared to be intentional, like some sort of notification?

I can also confirm this screen shake since the update. It also happened on my moms phone after updating...
As another user said I also tried a factory reset and no change...

Let's hope this issue picks up some steam, maybe I'm just picky but this had really been bothering me.. hopefully it will be fixed if we ever get 4.2

I have the shake issue as well.

Also lost some photos. I assume there is no way to recover them, correct?

If you use an SD-recovery program it can recognize your drive and recover every picture on your device I've used it on crashed SD cards works great

Update: :D
I believe that my problem was a result from installing the "Beats Audio" driver. I recently re-flashed my phone, and I found the audio was great. I installed the beats driver after re-rooting, and audio was crap. I reflashed, re-rooted, and did not install the beats, and all is good. Not real sure why the Beats Driver would affect the earpiece speaker, when it is not supposed to be activated until a headset is plugged in...???

I bought my phone after the update, Apr 29. My screen occasionally shakes as well. It seems I'm not alone. I thought I had dropped it too many times.
