Root issues with 2.2 youtube

Agreed, anyone know where to find a YouTube 2.1 apk?

Me too, I ended up torrenting YouTube 2.1.

Incidentally, I tried extracting it from my stock backup and couldn't figure out how. Anyone know how to extract APKs from Clockwork backups?

I experienced this same problem today. I've used the YouTube app included with Velocity 0.4 just fine since I flashed it, but only yesterday had reason to log in and today the app FCed every time. Fortunately I still had the APK for the HTC EVO YouTube app on my SD card, so I uninstalled with Titanium and reinstalled that one from SD. No problem since, even after logging in.

I looked around for that APK but it's been removed from the forum so I won't be posting it. I'm sure some astute Googler could find it ...

Well just to add to problems with this app that i hate so much. Now every video i watch it shows black and white so is there any way to fix this
