Help issues with auto screen timer

Hi is everyone else have that issue that the phone dont auto shut off the screen to save battery. I have it setup for the 30sec timer but sometimes I hit a key to see if I have signal and then it just dont shut off unless I hit the top key.
Is there a way to fix this thanks.

I had this problem yesterday and simply rebooting the phone worked for me.

thanks I will try that, Even when I hit On/Off to shut it, it dont work so I hit it a few more times and usually when the window to shut it off appear then it goes off.

I never had this issue with my ipod that why im concern if I dont pay attention it would dry the battery cause it just dont goes off on his own.

If rebooting didn't solve it, u can try downloading an app that comes with a screen timer from android market. Just type 'screen timer' or 'display timer' from the market search bar
