Help Issues with being on hold with speaker phone enabled.

When the screen goes blank during a long hold waiting for someone I can't simply touch the screen to talk to them.

Also, the speaker phone's microphone is disabled when the screen blanker kicks in. That is you can hear them but they can't hear you.
I'd find that acceptable if I only needed to touch the screen to unlock. BUT, I have to press the power button to get the screen back YET the speaker phone is still disabled.

So, if you are on hold using speakerphone and the other party answers you must first unlock the phone with the power button then click the speaker phone off, and perhaps back on, before you can talk to the other party.

Anyone else annoyed by this?

My husband and I have only had our phones for 2me months. Im having issues with him not hearing me when I have him on the speaker phoneI can hear him but he just can't hear me. I have only used my speaker phone a couple of times. I just don't get it. It is really annoying me. Any ideas?
