I received my S2 a few days ago. In Feb. I will be going to Thailand and the Philippines. I have sim cards from carriers in both countries that I want to use with the S2. After reading various posts on this forum it appears that I can either unlock the phone through ATT (assuming they approve) or use a 3rd party unlock app. If ATT denies me and I use a 3rd party app, am I likely to have any issues with the original att sim card when I return to the USA? Will the phone function the same prior to the unlock?
