Root issues with going stock x2

Well, i seem to be the only common denominator in the equation, that is, me trying to stock two triumphs. Ive done this before with success using the 100% stock triumph guide.

This time, i screwed up, and removed CWM first, from both phones, idk why i just did, then put it back on both. Then after alot of screwing around i finally used CWM to crate backups so it would create the filepath to put the Stock backup in, on both phones and booted them into CWM. I wiped data and cache and dalvik then used the restore option to restore to the stock rom. then i flashed stock splash image, on both, then hit reboot. Now they are both stuck in an endless splash screen.

So far, i was able to load Stock DEodex rom on one of the phones, and was able to boot completely into the Rom., im going to try and install the stock rom on that one now, using the same method, at least this way is sort of, starting completely over, at least i can, yeah well you get it.

im just going to follow the guide 100% this time, hopefully, plus idk if turning the phone OFF after restoring it, to remove CWM BEFORE booting up for the first time is crucial? doesnt that just make it, fully, stock, by removing CWM? i didnt think it would make the phone not start up or something idk...

Idk is there something ive done that is obviously the cause of why these suckers wont boot into the stock rom?

Also, every time i restore the stock image, it goes through the process and at the end, it says

Restoring Data... ".android_secure.img not found. Skipping restore of /sdcard/.android_secure."
Restoring Cache... "sd-ext.img not found. SKipping restore of /sd-ext."

It says this when i try to restore either phone... is this significant and could be the cause of the issues?

Just download the MTDEV restock rom...it restores to 100% stock in 1 step even stock recovery

is this the post here that you are talking about? it doesnt seem to be one that puts it completely stock and even removes the recovery like you said. Im downloading the the Verbatim one and going to give that a go.

im going to be giving these to someone else so i want them to be able to be activated and what not, and be able to send them back to VM if needed, cause i think they are still within their 1 year warranty. at least one of them is.
