Help issues with kindle app

i have enough room on my phone to download the kindle app.it downloads and then it do's not show up on my phone.for awhile yesterday it worked.but i messed with it a lot today and no luck.
 
It takes well over 30mb. I'd have to uninstall half my apps for it to fit. It also grows in size with every book added to it. If you have lots of books on your account it will not have enough space.
