Help Issues with My Droid Charge

For all who own a Droid Charge, and to all who are thinking about getting one, here are the issues I continue to experience with the Droid.

1) No audio with HDMI output. What's the use of that?

2) The Charge, will work with my car's bluetooth for my cell phone and the next day, although my Droid shows it is paired, the bluetooth does not work with my car, causing me to re-enable the bluetooth/visible option, then I must either reboot the phone or turn off my car and restart. What a complete pain!. This angers me more than anything because when I need bluetooth in the car, I really need it. THis causes me to have to re-check the "visible" enabled mode, even though I already have. The droid, disables itself. What's up with that?

3) The brightness will periodically go dim, as if the phone magically reduces brightness by what looks to be 75%. This usually happens whether I am in the sun or not and auto brightness is not selected. THis is frustrating because when I need it to stay on full brightness, in the sun, it often dims.

4) The battery life seems to be less than originally and I've only owned the phone for a few months.

When the phone is plugged in to power AND the audio jack is in, as I listen to music through the phone, I notice the settings seem to change even more, vs. not having both connected.

5) There has got to be a way to delete all of apps that came with the phone. I don't like having the Droid dictate what I cannot delete. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of that clutter? It just takes up screen space and I only run 10% of the applications. I do not need all of the standard apps that came with the phone.

Please advise a way around this mess. Thanks.

Sorry, the only experience I have is hearing what to do with is #4 & #5. The others I either don't have the problem or have never used my phone in that way.

#4: Battery life is a joke on these Android phones... there are ways to improve it some but still, terrible. Hopefully battery technology will catch up one of these days.

#5: You have to Root your phone, then you can freeze the apps that clutter it up or load a custom ROM on it without all the bloatware. Check out the ALL THINGS ROOT at the top of this area for more info. I havent done mine because I don't totally understand it all, but will shortly.

If you have ford sync and are having troubles with it staying synced do this. Go into yor settings and turn off automatic phonebook updating it will stay connected then. It fixed myproblems with my 10 superduty with nav and sync. Know if any can tell me how to make it not launch my music player everytime it sync that would be helpful. I hope this helps you it was really annoying till I figured out.
