Help Issues with voice to text

When I first got my samsung galaxy 4 I had an option of voice to text. I downloaded an emoji keyboard and this disappeared.
I assumed I would just have to download the google keyboard but it is completely different and I didnt like it.
I dont have the option of voice to text anymore when I search for it where it used to be in the gear on the left hand side of my keyboard.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
 
open an app that requires keyboard entry.
start by typing one character
Then drag the notification bar down and tap on the Select input method
select your PREVIOUSLY USED KEYBOARD
you can alternate any number of keyboards however, only the features of the selected keyboard will be available at any one time. If you need an emoji, then switch keyboards and you can use it... you get the picture?

I forgot to mention you can see what keyboards are enabled for use on your phone by going into settings/my device/language and input.

you can select the default keyboard, and if there are any keyboards that have no checkmark in the box you can add it and when you select keyboard (pulling the notification bar down) there will be a list of those that are checked, and you are able to select any of them.

Stock Samsung keyboard has a voice input key. (at least the one that came with my AT&T S4).

Swype keyboard has a voice input key. I like swype personally.
A ton of people like swiftkey.. it also has voice input (long-press on comma).

There are a lot of other keyboards out there. Maybe you are looking for one that has both emoji's and voice input? (I think there is a forum dedicated to keyboards)

By the way no matter what keyboard you have, you can still voice input into apps that have a voice input button separate from the keyboard (google keep, Gtasks, etc).
