Root it won't load the rom

after i flash cwr i reboot into recovery, than i move down to reinstall packages and than i get

--install from sd--
finding update package...
opening update package...
verifying update package...
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signarure verification failed
installation aborted.
what is that or what am i doing wrong

i have 2.2 and had oclf on 2.1 and tryed it on 2.2 (sucked) and trying to install bionix-v or i'm just going back to 2.1 i hate 2.2

Dave try here I had the same issue and this cleared it
recovery 3e modified to work like recovery 2e - Updated 01/23/2011 - xda-developers

and this i just download to pc and open and plug my phone and run program.
