its been 2 months and still no rebate.

that sucks, sent mines in and they got it on 11-23-2011 and recieve my card in the mail on 12-24-2011, i would hassle theme until i get a straight answer.
 
Yeah, I think tomorrow I'll give them a call. I've been patient long enough. Good to know I'm not the only one who's been waiting since forever.
 
People have been getting a rebate invalid from corporate. You need to call and fix it or stay in limbo.
 
I had that same problem... until I went on facebook and complained about this "situation" and I was asked to give them my account name and last 4 of phone number (they gave me an answer I didn't want to hear).... so I continued to complain about this problem until a METRO PCS CSR actually called me and applied the $100 rebate to my account

process took 3 days :D:D:D:D
 
For all of you having problems I would recommend that you try and track the rebate via the website if possible. If you have not got a confirmation email then they have not got it or they have and haven't emailed you. I have a similar story. I sent in the rebate and they got it on the 9th of December and so I went to look on the website to track it and it said my rebate was invalid because the rebate was post marked after the allowed date. Well I'm glad I made a copy of the rebate contract. ;) I went and looked and it said it has to be post marked by December 24th and received no later than January 7th. So I thought to myself and said wait if they received the rebate on the 9th then it was clearly post marked on time right? Lol! So I called them and explained to the guy and he said that there was a typo on the rebate form but that he would fix the invalidity of this and sure enough I went on the rebate tracking site and it was marked as valid and being processed. So if you have not received an email from metro then I would look in your inbox spam junk w/e and then call them.:D the guy seemed like he has been dealing with that all day cause he didn't waste any time putting it through. So I'm just waiting for that to come any day now.:)

TO ANYONE THAT IS HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THEIR PHONE OR ANYTHING RELATED TO IT.... GO ON THE METROPCS FACEBOOK PAGE AND TELL THEM WHATS GOING ON.
I did the same with whats going on with my situation and 20 minutes later I got a call from the customer service manager who has found me my replacement. Prior to that I have not had ONE single person even attempt to take the initiative to help me out. I even talked to the area manager of metro which supposedly the highest manager on the 611 number.
 
Just received my rebate for one Esteem and found out why metro couldn't find any record of my rebate. The morons misspelled my last name that's why metro could never find any record of it Hahaha oh well. Got one, one more to go.

I'm still waiting for mine even after I talked with metro. Good thing I didn't need that money right away. :rolleyes:

The rebate is for anyone that buys the phone from MetroPCS. It took them over two months to get me my rebate. I had to keep calling them. They kept saying my claim was invalid for different reasons and each time they were wrong and had to fix their issue. They are terrible to deal with for rebates. Why offer them when their customers have to go through so much crap just to get them. Just discount the phone in the first place. I hate waiting for stupid rebates.:mad:
