Im out by philly international. with all i got in time and know how and sandbagging the devs/forums/and phophets, this is the best wireless net I can get.
824ms ping / 146kbs down / 173kbs up....
on wireless router I smoke at
24ms Ping/ 18gb down /and 2.2gb up.
this tells me straight out Metropcs is the weakest link.
but i do save alot more $ than the verizon shafting i've gotten for YEARS!
even if metro remains ghetto on the speeds it won't hurt as bad...

The price is why I stay with MetroPCS. 1x really SUCKS when you absolutely have to use it in a pinch, but I don't want to switch to Cricket and pay nearly $10/mo more just to get moderately faster data speeds which will A.) get capped at 1GB and B.) not get used very often anyway. The thing that really bugs me about Cricket's pricing is that not only do they charge more than Metro per month, but they then add taxes and fees on top of the quoted price, meaning $55/mo ends up being close to $60, where Metro's quoted $50/mo really IS $50/mo, and not a penny more.
