If you were calling, you need to wait until the minutes used message is done and it will then give you more options. 4 is for more details and tells you the data usage too.

At one point someone, bluescreen I think, said that they couldn't track 4g data yet. I wonder if this is why some peoples are lower than they expected. I know I used more than this over the free 4g hotspot. I think either they aren't including teathering/hotspot, it needs a few days to catch up, or they aren't tracking 4g yet.

because if it's not an encrypted network it's not very safe, anybody can do packet sniffing/captures on a non encrypted wifi connection.

Hmm, that may be the case. I've been tethering and using the 4G Hotspot feature a lot, to see how it compares with my cable internet.

This has been debated before and I'm not sure there is a definative answer. Some say all sprint is unlimited some say only with the evo charge. If you have the evo you should be fine either way.
