Hi All,
well after getting nowhere in a 3 shop Yesterday, a Total Dullard of an assistant (Not wearing ID) told me I could Not upgrade to the Hero because it was a New phone (to 3) so I called 3 myself when I got back home and guess what, I have my upgrade coming to me on Tuesday with an added 1 Gig of Internet.
So I am about to join your Club I am happy to say.
I have read with interest in another Thread asking if the Hero was the persons first Touch Screen phone, well this will surely be the first touch
screen phone I will have owned and yesterday in the 3 shop they did not
even have the phone on display so I have only seen this phone in Magazines, Internet and on YouTube videos so I hope that you will go easy
and be gentle with me.

Will it be easy to find the option to put the phone onto Silent mode
because of Work?

Looks like it's available online now

And yes , you can easily turn the phone onto Vibrate / silent , you can even get the app "Locale" to Automatically switch it to silent at certain times on certain days you require if you wish

It's easy!

Or just turn the ring volume right down and it automatically goes into vibrate mode. you can use the buttons at the side to do that and you should see a vibrate icon appear at the top of the screen.

Sadly 3 are not generous like it seems Orange are regarding loyalty,
I am Gutted if I am honest reading about the deals 2 of our number have
got from Orange
