I've been watching music videos and such on my phone and think I like it more than my desktop monitor.
My normal computer monitor is a 5ms 23" Acer at 1920x1080 and a 40,000:1 contrast ratio and I find that I like the quality that videos have on the 3.2" 480x320 screen on my Moment more.
I guess this means I need to invest in an OLED monitor now?
From what I have read the minimum contrast ratio for OLED from Samsung is 1,000,000:1 with their high end tvs being upwards of 7,000,000:1!!! I guess that's part of why the videos look so good. Blacks are black and whites(like lights shining towards the camera) stand out. Adds a different feel to the video.
