Help itunes on evo???

what's the best app?
i came across one for $2.99 in the market, but wasn't sure if i should get it or not. are there annoying drm issues?
anything specific to the phone that could make this work for me??
thanks, guys

:)

The one thing I don't like about doubletwist is the lack of playcount and smart playlists (or atleast I haven't been able to find it yet).

Or use DoubleTwist which is basically iTunes for Android with the Android marketplace built in.

The problem that I have had with DoubleTwist is that it syncs with iTunes every time you open it and that take a while. I really like isyncr. It is basicly an app that you put on your phone. The only issue, one that does not bother me at all, is that you can only sync up to 3 "playlists" at a time. However, it syncs them straight from iTunes to your phone.

iSyncr works well. Anything that's not DRM-restricted gets moved as long as you pick it to move/sync. I don't even carry my iPod Touch2 anymore now that I have a 32GB card in my Evo and iSyncr.

DoubleTwist bites 100% worthless. You want free, use HTC Sync 3.0 it the only thing that will do 100% iTunes (so says the HTC Sync rep I saw).

I always had a HUGE resource drain when using HTC SYNC on my system. My mouse cursor was always giving me that busy "icon" look, plus system response was sluggish, so I dumped it.

I can't get the doubletwist to work on my phone...period...i got a good tip about a site called audiogalaxy..and it seemed like that was going to go well...but as soon as i disconnected my computer from my phone...all music was lost....I would really appreciate some input. i dont care about paying for it...I just want all the music i purchased, so i can work out to it...
Any assistance is appreciated...

Happy New Year!

I use iSyncer (the 2 or 3 $ version) and it has been great for getting my iTunes music onto my phone. So easy to use! Just like connecting your iPod to your computer. I got rid of my iPod (thank God) and just use my EVO for all my music now. Its GREAT! All future music purchaces I will make will be with the AmazonMP3 App-- it works great!

look for "isyncr" in the market...i think thats how its spelled but ill check
iSyncr for PC - Android app on AppBrain

I can't get iSyncr to work. I had the same problem with iTunes Agent. When I plug my phone into my PC, the connect types I get are "Charge Only (Charge phone over USB), "HTC Sync" (Sync contacts and calendar), "Disk Drive" (Mount as disk drive), and "USB Tethering" (Share phone's mobile network with PC). Regardless of the option I choose, I never get the popup "USB Connected: You have connected your phone to your computer via USB. Select "Mount" if you want to copy files between your computer and your phone's SD Card." I know I can drag and drop music but I wanted to get some of my iTunes playlists. Any advice?

Find a way to rip the DRM from any iTunes files you have and get out of that whole ecosystem. The sooner the better.

You know I hate to threadcrap but I have to agree with you. I hate the interface and the drm even more in itunes. There are so many other options out there...
