"I've got mine... " thread

try a different usb cable.

are you rooted?

what carrier?

how long have you had the phone? did this start happening on day one?

did you install any apps? uninstall anything prior to this happening?

do you have fastboot checked?

try a different computer.

if you factory reset and its still having issues, it could be a faulty cable or a physical phone issue (rare).

I'm on rogers
Not rooted
I plugged it back into the car it's fixed dunno what it's doing

Sadly I wiped everything I made a physical copy of the entire device what folders hold contacts and messages?

This started two days ago first time plugging it into the usb port on the car

Now it won't charge off the wall regardless if cable or charger I use

i suggest trying a different usb cable.
make sure fastboot is not checked.

its hard to diagnose over the internet.

i suggest doing a factory reset and NOT loading anything onto the phone. see if it will charge first before attempting to install apps.

if charging works and the screen is oriented the right way (maybe re calibrate your G sensor), go ahead and install your apps. hopefully all should be well.

if you still encounter any issues after a factory reset, take the phone in for service. its too new to have these issues.

How is a full factory reset done? Just by the menu?

New reset, charging fine, orientated fine.

Last time I tied my google account in, it started downloading my app's. The last App I downloaded was the "Mega" app, which uploaded pics only while plugged in.

I'm wondering if this screwed up my usb?

Not charging on my charger. Or my wife's HTC charger.
Power on or off.

Power it off I can get the charge light on by using the cable on my laptop.

The hell is going on?

I installed nothing.

at this point, if you have changed usb cables and tried using the AC/wall charger and you are still having issues, just take it in for service. the phone is too new to have these issues.

Hi lisawalsh ...

Welcome aboard. I've moved your thread to its area of discussion for a faster answer to your concerns.

Have a good one. ;-)

hi, i thought id posted this last nite, but i cant see it, so here it goes again... as the header says... photosphere?? is this a nexus only feature... im on 4.2.. if its there.. i cant find it.. cheers...

this is the 3rd attempt at asking the same question... the posts seem to go missing.. do we have photosphere on the one.. i am running 4.2, cant seem to find it... any advice welcomed... cheers

I've seen your posts on this; weird that they keep disappearing. To answer your question - photosphere is a Nexus only feature, although I have heard of some non-Nexus users finding a hack to installing it. I'm sure a google search would lead to more on this.

Has anyone else had a problem with the screen remaining quite dark when an incoming call comes in whilst the phone is in standby? This happened exactly after the 4.2.2 update. I also now seem to inadvertently open Google search by simply unlocking my phone in keypad form. Makes me close the app to accommodate my OCD more annoying! Lol. Thanks

My battery life on my HTC one sucks,I love the phone but I can't deal with the battery life.Me and my girlfriend both started using our phones at the same time 45 minutes ago and mine is on 74%.Bluetooth is off,WiFi is off, power saver is on,I just factory rebooted my phone so I have NO apps downloaded.Im on software 4.3 and I feel like it didn't start draining as fast until I downloaded it.I can't take it to at&t because I'm on straight talk,I took it there one day and as soon as he seen ST he brushed me off and his whole attitude changed from helping to get the hell out of my face.I need help on how to get a better battery life. Can I downgrade software? I've read that 4.3 update has caused battery drainage.
