also the annual renewal for my verizon customers are going out the door

as well as returns being 14 days instead of 30

Customers under contract before Jan. 16 will be grandfathered in and can use the credit one last time. That means next month's iPhone buyers will be able to use the additional discount -- if they've been with Verizon for more than two years.

Looks like we can use the NET upgrade ONE last time -

They've been slowly decreasing it for a while now.

It used to be up to $200 off, then it became $150 off. My previous upgrade was $99 off, and this last time was $50 off. It was in October that they changed over to $30 off.

They also added on mandatory $9.99 data plans for some "3g" phones that weren't smart phones. I got into it with Verizon's customer service because they were trying to make extra money for the company on something I didn't want or need. I got an android anyhow.

Verizon is like any other big company--they hit their high and are over the crest, they're going downhill. Remember Circuit City? Then came along Best Buy, it's all competition.

If people looking to upgrade can wait, Craigslist is your friend. Aside from my Eris, I have not bought a new phone in years.


edit: you can usually find legitimately good deals shortly after a device comes out. I got my Fascinate for $300.

Sales rep told me this in October. He told me that it would be going to $30. I also get a disc. for being a msft employee (this time it was $50). So this past time I went in I got my Ne2 AND my msft disc. totalling $100. I guess they're going to really whack away at these discounts for my next upgrade though.
ohhhh well.

just wait till all the AT&T converts come over and start bogging down the network. Once again, we'll be impacted.
