Files are the same size as mine, my perms were 644 while yours are 666. I changed the perms on my file to 666 to match yours just to see if it makes a difference and it doesn't. I can still send photos with my text messages no problem.

I like crimtom's suggestion, easy to try and certainly won't hurt anything.

If that doesn't work and you really want to get this working, maybe try a fresh install of jager rom 1.7.3 and then push the mms files again. Use rom manager to install the rom and select "wipe data and cache".
 
It might be easier for all of you that are trying to get MMS working to just install JagerRom 1.7, it works just as well in my opinion. The majority of what changed between 1.7 and 1.7.3 are the third party apps he added, nothing special really. You can grab it here if interested: droidsp0t
 
awesome suggestion eleazar. i didn't know that was the only difference. i didn't really want all those other proggies anyway. reflashing to 1.7 is a great idea.

so... all i need to do to flash a new rom (besides nandroid obviously) is wipe data and cache from clockwork menu and then run the rom zip from the sdcard - right?

i do have the undervolt kernal installed. anything special i need to do because of that?
 
okay... clean install of 1.7. no errors when trying to send mms... but it still won't send! lol. i guess i'm making progress that i don't get any error message now, but i still can't get the mms to go through. any ideas?
 
Well, apparently I spoke too soon. :\ I am on 1.7 and I could've sworn I had already sent and received MMS' on this rom. I guess I have been installing too many roms lately. It is 1.6.2 that has MMS working properly. I'll write up a quick guide with screenshots on how to add MMS to 1.7 and 1.7.3. :) I'll post here when I'm done.
 
same thing i did last time, but this time it worked! thanks a ton eleazar. really appreciate it. don't send too many mms's, but nice to know i can if i want to.
 
i was using 1.7.3 but reverted to 1.7 as it's the same just without the added programs. problem is that now when i plug into the computer, it's not asking me what type of connection to use. i could have sworn i saw somewhere (either in this thread or another) that someone else was having this issue and there was a fix. i can't seem to find it again though. can anyone help?

the check box to ask every time is checked btw. lol.

anyone else getting the error message: The application People(process com.android.htccontacts) has stopped unexpectedly? I get it everytime I click on a contact.....
 
So, while the K9 mail is alright, I was wondering if it's possible to install the default gmail app on jaeger rom. Is this do-able?
