Jawbone Icon users

I put this here, to get as much attention as possible. not for me but for the group.

If you bought an Icon, and you would like an Andrroid app for battery meter please take to time to give that feed back to the Jawbone (aliph) product support team.

I already did, and got a response today that they have no plans.

Just thought if enough Android users pinged them maybe they will. Or hey maybe motorolla will make one for their BT headset and we can all by theirs.

(afterthought: should I have put this in the main lounge)

Are we talking monitor the Jawbone battery on the phone?

Yes. On iphail there is an app to download that puts a battery meter for the icon on the top of the phone, next to the phones battery meter.

I was hoping people here would want the same. I know I do.

Bump for Bump's sake. Anyone else notified Aliph? I got a basic response from them with a link to take a survey.

You'll get more notice in the Lounge. I don't see the connection to the DX, except that perhaps you own one. Have a good day! :)

Bump for bump's sake again.

Jawbone released a BB app for this, so 2 down and hopefully 1 to go.

Bump for Bump's sake again.

Still not Android APP. and I guess nobody is really all that interested.

Does the app cost money on BB and iOS? I would be interested in it, but not having it is not too much of an issue.

Ya know, just tapping the talk button on the icon tells you the battery life?!?! Not busting you at all, but unless you want something for when you're on a call or it is for coolness factor, It seems much more convenient to me to just press a button on the headset.

usually bt manufacturers do have apps to help them sell and gain traction in a segment. blueant has a nice app for the t1 (and others) that has a android widget and everything that you can control your volumes for media and calls, and it has settings on phone for the headset.

Being I have been a blackberry user for many years I finally joined the darkside (lol) and went looking for my jawbone app that I used on my blackberry and apparently they don't make it for android OS which is a huge let down.

I drive a tanker truck at night for 12-14 hours a day 6 days a week and it's nice to know when my ear piece is about to die so I can charge it. I hope they release a android version soon.

I had an iPhone before I got my EVO, and even without any special app it would show me my icon's battery life. A bit disappointing, hopefully we can get them to change their mind.

This is an old thread but don't they make one now with the new Jawbone ERA? I am looking for a new headset and have been reading reviews and thought I read that the ERA had that feature. I own a EVO 3D and am looking for a replacement for my Blue Ant Q2. I had a Jawbone Icon previously and have owned a couple Plantronics.
