i installed revolt to get 4.2.2 i was running 4.1.2 stock goc1 i thought 4.2.2 would be better but is not the text mesg looks old i cant watch videos and do other things at the same time like i was able to on stock and i can not oc they do have a lot more settings but i liked the stock a lot better than a lot of roms i see on here the video thing really bothers me what is the deal i thought 4.2.2 should be better than stock text mes back ground is white and cant change it to dark i think i will go back to stock gco1

You might want to poke around the threads a bit. I'm sure someone has themed the text messaging if they did you could push that to your phone

Yes I could watch a video and go to Facebook and the video would play at the top and I could look at Facebook at the same time and that was on stock jb

Odd, I could not do that with Stock on my S2, I know you can do that with things like S3 and Note 2.

I can do it with Stock JB on mine too. Also when watching videos in the full screen instead of the floating window, you can take snapshots out of the video.

Wait, that's a TouchWiz feature if I'm not mistaken. I immediately install Nova Launcher Prime and don't use TouchWiz, that would be why I couldn't use it LOL

No, it is an app feature, you would still have it even if you changed launchers. did you go to a different video player app?

Bring up your video player and pic a video you have and play it then hit the right most button on the play controls. This is for the stock JB video player. ICS doesn't have it.

i went to a different rom i am on s4 and i like it alot i don't know if something is wrong with me or what but i have had a couple of cm10 based roms and i have to tell you i don't like them at all the settings are cool but looks wise they all look the same i want settings but most of all i want it to look cool they have gb text msg and the old dial-er. Are all asop roms based off of cm10 not to knock it just boring

Try not to get hung up on the ROM itself. Cool settings and things are nice, but the best ROM is one you don't really notice, and instead focus on what you are actually doing with the phone.

Not to mention it is the launcher and lock screen that has the wow factor. Find a launcher that does the "cool" things you want like a 3D style carousel home screens.
