Help Jelly Bean and Multiple Calendar Notifications

I have searched around and found lots of information about the new Jelly Bean notification system, which I like, but not this answer. Running stock Jelly Bean from carrier.

Here is the question. At most times I have multiple Calendar notifications, all of which I do not want to dismiss at once. Some might be all day, some might be a specific time.

Sometimes Jelly bean combines these into one calender reminder on the notification page with multiple calendar items beneath that. You can click on the notification and it brings up the calendar-specific reminder list. And on that list, you can't swipe...you can just view one to make it go away, or make them ALL go away.

However, at other times, the notification screen lists each calendar reminder separately on the notification screen which is very nice, because you can swipe them off individually.

So what determines which way JB displays those calendar notifications, combined or separately? Is this a setting somewhere?

Anyone have any ideas? I verified that another phone on Jelly Bean does the same thing.

I'm interested in a "solution" to this one also. Only being able to dismiss a group of calendar notifications is pretty annoying. Is there is a setting that needs to be changed?

The only "solution" is also rather annoying. All I have come up with is if you touch/select one of the reminders and "view it" and then go back, that one items is taken off the notification list. The only way you can do this if you want to LEAVE one or two notificaitons but say dismiss 4 or 5. Of course, who ever wants to do that??!!

I guess just a few of us...
