Jelly Bean blues

Completely and utterly sick of Jelly Bean. Don't know anything about rooting or flashing ROM but is there some way I can get back to an operating system that actually functions! JB has taken my beautiful phone and turned it into a semi-useless brick!!!
 
What kind of problems are you having? I'm running Jelly Bean and think it's brilliant. Did your phone come with JB on it or has it been updated since you had it?
 
originally OTA upgrade after which i did a full factory reset. where do i start? Email only syncs when app (k-9) is shown to be running in TM. Alarm clock alarm cuts out after less than 1 sec. Car bluetooth no longer functions. Browser continues to run in background after exit (as do many other apps). Browser always opens in "About blank", have to open a 2nd tab to get home page. Basically the functions that I use regularly (email, browser, alarm and bluetooth) are all buggy. The bluetooth is especially a problem as I can no longer call or take calls when travelling. finally Browser bookmarks do not sync. all other google stuff seems to sync OK but not BMs.

Posted here because was hoping rooting might help me sort the phone out. however open to any suggestions that might make the thing useable again so thanks.

I'm afraid that rooting your phone, in itself, will not sort out your problems and will void your phone's warranty.
