Help Jelly Bean for Note One - When?

Does anyone knows when Jelly Bean will come to the Note 1 ? Last time I read, its supposed to come in October. Or is it possible to download manually and install rather than waiting for the official update.

From what I can gather, late December is when JB will be released for the international(unlocked version of the Note). If yours is carrier locked, then it may well take quite a lot longer.

I thought I heard rumor of it already rolling out in Germany or something but I haven't heard anything about North America.

What are we getting on the Jelly Bean update?

I understood we were getting some Samsung "premium suite" apps for the note 2 or something and I guess Google Now, but what else is coming?

yes you can download the leaked version from xda if you are desperate... i am running the leaked jb on my note and lemme tell you....its fast and super smooth ...practically no bugs....
