Jelly Bean on Boost Force

That and the screwed up and used our model number in another phone's update... wtf I'm wondering if that also had something to do with it.

I would swear before I bought phone when researching that it said it had 4.1 now it just says 4.0 on Boost's website. I want my jelly bean fix. I wish cyanogenmod would support the Force.

There's a post for that, it's unofficial though. Minor bugs.

Boost website did say Android 4.1,Then I guess people/us were complaining that the website said Android 4.1 & we want our update too.
I went as far as to FB and ask,Where is the update.

I saw this also and called them yesterday asking about update only to get maybe it'll come but no promises.

I saw that but I want official non buggy official one.

Don't hold your breath because that's never coming. If they pulled the update, then obviously it had serious bugs. The guys working on this phone have found several bugs with the official ROM. ZTE has some inexperienced workers doing the back end coding. The bugs may not be immediately apparent but they will be there. Have some hope on the community cleaning up ZTE's mess.

So in short, don't expect a bug-free update from ZTE. That's just not going to happen.

I mean I want a official supported cyanogenmod.

If you click on the phone and scroll down it still says its platform is 4.0. I swear they've got a bunch of idiots in charge there who are just dying to piss the community off -_-

Guess if we want jellybean we gotta get the Boost Warp 4g...
Personally I refuse to buy another zte device. I don't care that it has a 4.5" screen and 2070 mAh battery. Fork em'.

Edit:
Actually... I might get it after all. 199 is pretty sweet.
I'm not impressed with the downgrade in processor though. 1.5Ghz dual core to 1.2Ghz dual core? Why?

We may be able to use some of the software from that phone to help finish up cm10.

thats what i was thinking. the warp 4g kernel source probably has everything needed. even a hayes defconfig im willing to bet, but it might be a painful process to get your hands on it seeing as their site never works

Boost Warp eh? Looks like they're moving on from the Force. This is my first smartphone from ZTE and it will likely be my last. I made the mistake of judging purely on hardware.

Yea zte software blows lol. The warp 4g may be alright though. Dont know yet. The jellybean update for the sequent did wonders for it

Mind you i wouldnt blame anyone for giving up on them but i wont. As silly as it may seem im gonna keep working to make ztes tolerable. I hate that samsung gets all the good stuff and people that dont spend $500 on a $300 phone get left out

The android community as a whole needs more people with your mentality. I don't find it silly at all, it makes perfect sense. I've never had a high end smartphone, I started with the Prevail and now I'm on the force, but I have taken a look at the forums of the higher-end phones and the community support that they get in comparison to ours is tremendous. Similar to geographical communities I guess. We get pot holes, they get perfect roads.

Anyway, I really appreciate the work that you and the other devs do for us on here. I know (and I think most others do too) that it takes time out from your day and you get nothing monetary in return.

if it has MSM Krait inside I like it :P
both phones do (Warp 4g and Force)
But maybe a stock sys dump might give us a better chance at a fully working JB
