Jelly Bean Push Notifications

Anyone notice Facebook, Twitter and Google+ push notifications not working under Jelly Bean?

They haven't been working for me.
 
Out of those I only use Facebook but its push notifications work for me. I get the notification and the blue flashing light
 
Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to try removing the accounts, deleting the apps, restarting the phone and then re-installing the apps.

Maybe something became corrupted during the update.
 
If you upgraded to the new Twitter 3.3.0 is has screwed up notifications.

But facebook a d Google+ are working for me.

GSM Nexus 4.1.1
 
OK, deleting the accounts then uninstalling the apps - rebooting - reinstalling - worked for me.

Brinky, I was getting notifications on Twitter after doing that.
 
No problems here with Facebook or Google+. My Twitter notifications have been borked for quite a while - I'm in the process of moving to Tweet Lanes instead.
 
since updating to jelly bean my nexus has gone crazy. all texts on stock sms messaging come multiple times, the web browser crashes nearly every time i use it. any tips??

Assuming you are not rooted, have you tried factory resetting the phone? Sometimes system files can become corrupt, and factory resetting will replace them with fresh files.

Make sure you make a backup of your internal SD card onto your PC first!
 
I'm having the same problem with my Galaxy Nexus. Since I upgraded to Jelly Been last week, my Google+ and Gmail push notifications have stopped working. Because they are standard apps on the Galaxy Nexus, I cannot delete them so the suggestion above won't work for me.

Can anybody help please?
 
I just bought the new Samsung note 2. Everything is great except receiving twitter notifications. Tried most troubleshoots but no success. Wonder if anyone having this issue too. Uts frustrating :(

You can try wiping the data for both apps and see if that helps. Be aware that wiping the data returns the apps to their default settings, so you'll need to redo any settings you have for each of the two apps.

If that does not work then you may need to factory reset. Sometimes the OTA updates will cause some apps to perform badly, and doing a factory reset will provide you with fresh system and app files.

I also got a new note 2 and have similar problems. I can only receive push notifications from Gmail and text message. The other applications such as whatsAPP, facebook twitter I can not receive.

I tried these methods, I still have no notifications.
