Help Jelly bean update i9100M

Hi I've got the Canadian I9100M s2 from Bell, and ive gone to tech sites like mobilesyrup and even phandroid and noticed they have post about the 4.1 being released in Canada for Bell and Virgin Mobile, and seems like lots of people have already gotten it. However, the CSC list seems like it hasnt released at all in Canada and I still can't update over Kies, even though the official rom for the i9100M can be found online. I'm not sure if im missing something.

Should i just root and flash the official rom?

The JB firmware for Bell, Canada, has been out since Valentine's Day, 14th February.

See post #47, here, of the Jelly Bean update - Dummies Guide for more details of the firmware, i9100MUGMA5, and what you can do to get it.

So i should just use the OYCMA5 one, is the Dummies guide list not updated for Canada? that might have confused me there.

The Jelly Bean update - Dummies Guide, post #2, has been updated since the release of OYC firmware. No firmware has been released for CSC code BMC as per post #47.
