Just tested this and it works for us... editing photos in gallery force closes but other than that, things work really well and the cam looks real good... just move to system/app and permissions are rw-r--r--... also do not try to install, just reboot after setting permissions and everything should show up... has great support for our camera button too... obv no 3d

i did not port this nor did i have anything to do with its development... i just found it...

Nice find. I might backup my current ROM and play with this later to see how I like it. It'll have to be pretty darn awesome to get me away from my sense camera.

its very minimalistic and some things are hard to find... to get to the flash, white balance, etc. settings, tap and hold anywhere on the screen... no support for volume buttons though

i tested it with mobster but that should mean that midnight works too... also cm/aosp/aokp should definately work... editing in the gallery doesn't work and panorama doesn't work in camera... but camcorder is good too go...
 
This one works with mobster rom also, i just tested it, everything works except editing the photo.

DownloadZip flash in recovery and reboot.

flash at your own risk.
 
does our half click camera button focus feature work with this, because i know with some JB cameras it does not.

360 force closes for me even with the download from mobstergunz post... panorama does give visual glitches.... as for the keyboard... no problems... works great.. needs some improvement for recognition but no problems with the port itself.. tested on mobster rom

That's strange... 360 works for me... and it's awesome! Not to rub it in...

Actually it has it's issues. Can't do anything up close, and even big rooms come out with pictures overlapped poorly. But I imagine it's only going to get better.
 
Downloaded the zip, flashed it, rebooted. My camera looks the same. Is there a different method?

Edit; NM, didn't realize it didn't overwrite the original camera.

yes keyboard is problem-less... though after using it for a day or so, im not too fond of it... recognition isn't too great... feels very annoying to someone who used swype until now... i do like the stock android look but recognition is dissapointing

Does it overwrite the keyboard included in Mobsters? I hope not... Just wondering before I decide to flash. I'm at work and don't have much space on my sd card to do a full backup. Thanks

no... it doesn't overwrite anything... assuming you use the link that i did.... (the one that mobster posted..)
