Help Jellybean Update

I have tried to root after I flashed the JB OTA update but with no luck can someone help me with this?
And was also wanting to know if I can return to factory ICS 4.0.4, there's some bugs in here with the JB OTA? Thanks
 
I am new to the tablet world here, sorry if anything i ask is stupid. Is it safe to say that the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will see the Jellybean 4.1 update here in the U.S.? The only reason I ask is because I want to wait till I comes out, because I dont feel comfortable flashing it to the tab(i am guessing that is what you would call it).
 
Currently it is unavailable in the US, only in the UK and other foreign lands. I currently have this OTA (over the air), but its the UK version. Its not without its nusiances.
 
Hello from Phoenix AZ. 9:00 A.M. just downloaded update 4.1.1.

Assume that is jellybean? Don't know but so far can see no appreciable difference.

No link, just a notification in the lower right hand corner. Checked the "about device" and there it was.

Took about 25 minutes to download, and had to reset some items, but all in all not much difference.
