What does Jit do?? My rooted rom came with it enabled what does it do??

Just In Time compilation, or "jit," invokes things a bit quicker on the fly than the ordinary method of compilation, thus giving the user a faster experience on their device; that's all we users need to know. 
I haven't seen any strain on the battery or other resources with jit enabled.

I just enabled this on my rom and my phone is just sick fast with no OC.
