JKay Deluxe Settings (ICS) now out

Good news... bad news time.

The good news is that JKay has started to release for ICS ROM's...

The bad news is that this is just the framework for XXLPS. The Deluxe Settings, with all the goodies, won't be available for a couple of weeks and then only through the Play Store at $2.49.

Hopefully, XWLP7, XWLP8, XWLP9 and XWLPD won't be too far behind.

I hope an ICS CheckRom follows very quickly. I don't mind paying for the goodies, I like and use them.

Ive paid more for some terrible games and apps before. This is still a no brainer for me. Well when LPD support is available that is.

Ironass, are you still on stock ICS ? With CF rooted kernel ?

If so your screenshots of the J-Kay mods have inspired me, full nuclear wipe, and a flashing and rebuilding session I think.

ironass is officially a, "Happy Bunny".

JKay has released the LPF framework for his DeLuxe Settings.

LPF, build date 18 May, is now bang up-to-date on the latest firmware.

See, here.

Please read carefully and thoroughly, the instructions in the above link, posts #1, #2 and #3.

N.B. You do not have to buy the DeLuxe Settings to get some of the basic features in JKay's framework package.

The Deluxe Settings app gives you more quick toggles on the Notification bar! A new customizable Quick Launch panel on the Notification bar. A customizable Phone Dialog. Two new customizable lock screens... and more!

Im presuming this LPF version is compatible with LPD?

I wouldn't presume that old son. There are different releases of the JKay framework package needed for each release of ICS. At the moment he's only released LPS and LPF, although the others should be out in about 2 days to a week.

Some people on the JKay, xda forum, have configured the framework to work on LPD already, it seems. See here.

Ok so this might/might not be linked to these Status 7 errors ive been getting trying to install anything lately :S

Latest siyah (status 7 error installation aborted,)
Jkay (status 7 error , installation aborted)

Siyah now installed fine. Must of been where I had the .zip located

Jkay says that LPD will probably be out Wednesday.

Then you'll be a Happy Bunny... sorry... Dog... like me! :D

You could, of course, flash an LPF odexed or deodexed ROM and use it now.

I could but then I've waited this long whats a few days longer. Who knows , we may even see some movement at team CheckRoM shortly.

I don't mind waiting for CheckROM v7 now that I have the JKay DeLuxe Settings. I wonder what they will base CheckROM v7 on. Please let it be LPD or LPF!

im sure they'll base it on stock, as jkay has done the ground work for the tweaks, and he's not known for his aokp work. would love to see a mega checkrom aokp firmware, but will be as happy as a pig in excrement with any new ICS from the check lads. just hoping they can do the same magic for ICS as they did with gingerbread.

i'm using the ics theme now in checkrom :p looks pretty promising.. really smooth and all.. but i'm annoyed by the missing icons in the bottom right -.-
